Electrolysis is the only FDA approved method of permanent hair removal.

 

A fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle.  After insertion, you will feel a slight heat sensation, which will cauterize the papilla, the living organ responsible for hair growth.  When the papilla is destroyed completely the hair will no longer grow.

 

Treatment varies with each individual and the extent of the hair problem.  Usually, within six months of regular treatment, there should be noticeable change in hair growth.  However, additional treatment may still be required to remove all unwanted hair permanently.
