Kneading Hands Massage Therapy, Inc has been owned and operated by Mrs. Tracy S. Parous since 2001 and specializes in familiar massage techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular and Pre-Natal Massage, as well as unique Traditional Thai Massage. Each session is customized to meet the specific needs of every client and is performed in a casual, comfortable and relaxing environment. Mrs. Parous is a well trained and experienced professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association and upholds their high standards and code of ethics.

Clients of Kneading Hands Massage Therapy receive skillfully tailored massage treatments based on the length of the session versus the technique provided, enabling the client to receive bodywork based on specific needs determined via an interview with Mrs. Parous. Each client will play an interactive roll in deciding how much pressure is to be used and which problem areas are to be targeted. By integrating the client with the technique used, the client is empowered and actively participates in their own treatment, which brings about faster results.

Traditional Thai Massage is an eastern technique dating back to ancient times, revered in Thailand as energy healing and is part of the Traditional Thai Medicine practice. Thai Massage is quite effective in treating the body holistically and is a very different massage experience than the more common techniques. The recipient is fully clothed during the entire session and lies comfortably on the floor. The therapist uses her hands and feet to apply pressure to the "energy lines" of the body in a very specific routine. Each session includes several minutes of deep yoga stretching and may vary in length based on each client's mobility. Thai Massage is sometimes jokingly called "lazy mans yoga", since the therapist does all the work and the client simply receives the stretches. A Thai Massage session typically lasts for 60 to 90 minutes.
